Review of Dell’ UGO Delicious Gluten Free Chickpea Fresh Fusilli

So we recently had the pleasure of trying the Dell’ UGO Foods fresh chickpea fusilli pasta and what a delight they are. For someone who is gluten free, the days of fresh pasta have been long gone for a while now. Like most people who follow a free from diet, I love trying new things when they come out. So recently whilst the rest of the family were tucking into some gnocchi fresh out of the fridge, I thought I’d opt for the fresh fusilli as my alternative. The pasta tasted fresh and really quite different to dried pasta. The most satisfying thing about the pasta was the texture and consistence once cooked. Initially on looking at it in the pack it looks kind of rubbery and dry. This was not the case when cooked. I had it with my pesto and chicken wrapped in bacon with some fresh steamed vegetables. Mmmmm My mouth is watering as I write this; I wish I had a dish in front of me again. The Dell’ UGO fresh pasta is available from a range of Waitrose stores that you can find by inputting your postcode on our website and the you can also get them online from Ocado. In my eyes this is a real turn around and a great step in the right direction for having normal every day foods as part of our staple foods. I will definitely recommend that you try this amazing product. It’s fresh, healthy and tastes like I used to remember fresh pasta to taste. I’m already looking forward to my next fresh pasta meal. Think I’ll have the fusilli with spinach and chicken in a homemade tomato and pepper sauce. I can’t wait.
