This bar is amazing. It would be difficult to start a review of this product without first stating that emphatically, which is saying a lot. The texture of the bar brings together perfectly the different flavours present – polenta, smooth lemon curd and subtle ginger (which I was a little afraid of, as I don’t enjoy ginger usually, but it was perfectly subtle here). Each bite has the perfect combination of those three flavours, completely unique – I have sampled many cakes in the course of my rotund life, and never tasted anything like this.
The packaging is completely recyclable and bio-degradable, as well as very charming – a pleasant combination of mainly yellow and blue, with simple, concise information (ingredients, nutritional info, etc).
All in all I would definitely recommend this to anyone. In fact, I would challenge you to tell the difference between this and a non free-from cake.
