Fria gluten free fibre bread I’d eat again and again
Written by markjohn. Tuesday, March 27th, 2012
I was fed up feeling bloated every time I ate normal bread, so when we got a sample of gluten free Fria bread sent into us here at Foods You Can I decided to give gluten free bread a go.
I was a bit unsure of how it would taste as I don’t follow a gluten free diet so I was very interested on how I would find the experience. Upon opening the bread the first thing I did was put a couple of slices in the toaster, once the bread toasted I put some margarine on thinking oh no! How is this going to taste lol!.
Surprisingly to me but not to those who eat Fria bread on a regular basis I didn’t notice any difference between Fria gluten free bread to the normal breads I am used to buying, I was saying to myself this isn’t that bad at all this is definitely worth a try again.
The next day for breakfast I put some Fria bread on the grill after(toasting initially) with some cheese on top and it tasted great once it was ready just with a little sprinkling of pepper on top, I honestly could have sat at home all day and just ate the rest of the bead toasted with cheese all day, I loved it, the slices weren’t that big so you didn’t feel you had eaten a full meal, I didn’t feel bloated as I usually do after eating a lot of normal bread, I felt that the bread tasted a lot better than your standard run of the mill bread, so therefore it was an enjoyable experience.
I would definitely try some more Fria gluten free bread and I would be interested in trying other products from the Fria range, I know products they produce vary from, breads to chocolate cakes to apple muffins and many more.
I have attached a picture of how my toast and cheese looked and trust me it tasted as good as it looks, I would urge you all to try Fria’s product range and I honestly feel you would enjoy them as much as I did.

Fiber is my all time favourite gluten free bread, along with Fria’s dark seeded roll which has much the same taste as Fiber and is the perfect lunch roll. It’s quite small but very filling, low in fat and full of goodness. Why isn’t Fria in EVERY supermarket in the UK? It is a MILLON TIMES nicer than Genious, in my opinion. Perhaps we should all write to the supermarkets and tell them we want Fria. Who’s with me??
