Fria Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie well and truly chocolate heaven

So it’s not often that I’ll treat myself to a chocolate cake, but I had a sudden urge for some chocolate yesterday and decided to try the Fria Chocolate Brownie Cake.  I haven’t had a brownie cake for a long time.  The last one I had was a bit dry and flakey so I tend to stay away from them.  The Fria chocolate brownie cake comes frozen so it needs defrosting before eating.  I wasn’t really expecting anything different from any other free from chocolate cake I’ve previously had, but wow was I wrong!!!

I used a table knife to cut myself a piece and the knife slid through the cake like smooth skin.  I knew then that the cake was soft and fluffy. Mmmmm Once upon a time I’d have used cream on a cake like this but believe you me, it didn’t need it.  I sat down to watch my favourite soap on TV and I have to say I’m normally engrossed and don’t miss a word being spoken.  This time though, I found myself day dreaming in what I can only describe as chocolate heaven.  I can safely say, I have never, ever had a gluten free chocolate cake as delicious and tasty as this Fria product.  I was planning on sharing the rest with friends that are coming over for dinner this evening but I can’t.  I actually can’t share it, or should I say I don’t want to.  I want it all to myself and I want it to last forever, or at least until I buy my next pack.  This cake is gluten and milk free and I can’t believe it.   In Fria I can safely say, that I think I may just have found one of my new favourite brands of gluten free foods.
