Foods You Can Reviews Mrs Crimbles Oven Baked Potato Bites.

I love my potato crisps/ chips, I miss them a lot, I used to eat about 3 or 4 packets a day until I found that I suffered from food allergies mainly gluten.

As you are aware many mainstream crisps do have gluten and wheat in their ingredients, so I was looking forward to trying Mrs Crimbles potato bites as I want to find something that I can enjoy to taste and eat without worrying about feeling bloated or becoming unwell after eating non gluten and wheat free potato crisps, chips or bites.

Well Mrs Crimbles sent us here at Foods You Can a 4 pack of their Sea Salt & Vinegar potato bites, firstly they are gluten & wheat free which are fantastic, the product comes in nice packaging, don’t get me wrong the packets are small but they are filling, they are ideal for a bite when you are on a break at work or a quick nibble at home, so I liked the packaging I thought there was plenty of allergy info on each pack, also you are able to purchase the bites in various countries which is great news  for those of you who travel.

Right the main question, how did they taste? Well I enjoyed the taste I did like the salt and vinegar coming through I think that the taste was enough not too tangy, also the size of the bites was ideal as you can put one in your mouth one at a time and enjoy the taste and savour it before you can put the next one in your mouth.

If you are like me, kinda new to eating gluten and wheat free you will notice a difference from normal crisps, but you will get used to that, after a while you will think that gluten & wheat free crisps will taste similar to mainstream crisps, but the great news eating Mrs Crimbles oven baked potato bites unlike like eating mainstream non gluten and wheat free crisps they will not  make you feel bloated or unwell once you have eaten them, you will just be able to enjoy the flavour and taste and like me find another food product that you will be able to indulge in time and time again.

Hi Nancy,Rumford, Clabbergirl, Davis and Hearth Club make gluten-free bainkg soda. I use Rumford because most grocery stores carry it or I make my own. When bainkg soda is made they use a starch to absorb moisture. The starch may be cornstarch (gluten-free), potato starch (gluten-free) or wheat starch (which contains gluten).
