The Original Gluten Free Beer

Why did you enter the free from food market? 

To give Coeliacs a real choice of beers, ensuring that everyone can indulge in their favourite beer, and not restricted to just wine and cider.

Do you think that the free from market for beverages in its entirety is well catered for? 

There is certainly more awareness of Coeliac disease nowadays, and there are some good retailers who really embrace the Free From opportunity, but when did you last see a gluten free beer in a local off- license or pub? If the question is never raised with licensees, the chances are gluten free beers will not be stocked. Both suppliers and consumers really need to put the squeeze on them.

How many different drinks do you have in your product range? 

We have seven clearly defined different styles. Our naturally gluten free beers, produced from gluten free raw materials, are the original Discovery, and Trailblazer (low carb too). Latterly we have brought in a range of de-glutenised beers, namely Premium Pils, Golden Ale, and the bottle refermented range Blonde, Dark and Brown Ales (real ale in a bottle!).

What kind of free from customers can use your products?

All the beers are less the 6ppm, and all except the bottle refermented range are yeast free too. The beers are naturally filtered, therefore they are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and of course those people who want a change from wine and cider now and again!

Do you have a favourite drink in your range? If yes what is it?

I am bound to say they are all great! But put on the spot I would have to say the Re fermented Blonde Ale.

What makes your brand stand out from others in your market places?

Put simply, range and high quality. Choice is everything to the Coeliac.

For our loyal customers, thank you for your continued support.  For those who have not tried our beers yet or lost your taste for beer, just give us a try, you will be pleasantly surprised! Watch this space too, new beers are on their way.

Where do you see the free from market for drinks specifically alcohol in 5 years time? 

There will be more competition as the market grows, giving more choice for Coeliacs and for those who choose a gluten free diet as a life style option. Being the best is the easy bit, staying there is harder!
